Position - Cassandra DBA
Experience - 4-8 years
Location - Bangalore
- Candidates need to have strong experience in Cassandra DBA database backup and recovery.
- Configure alerts, thresholds and monitoring Cassandra database.
- Actively participate & drive major incident management troubleshooting calls and keep track of ongoing issues and be on top of it.
- Identify automation opportunities, resource saves and process improvement avenues. Identify re-occurring issues, and make sure of proper root cause analysis and problem management.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other stake holders for adopting new tools/utilities/features. Day to day Change, Incident Management, problem management and explore options for optimization/HA/process improvements.
- Enhance observability dashboards & improve alerting
- Good communication and learning skills
- Good collaboration and inter personal skills
- Experience in Linux shell scripting
- Experience using Ansible, GitHub, Unix Shell Scripting, Python or Grafana is a plus.
