Duties include, but are not limited to: participating in full development cycle of custom enterprise-level software applications for large corporate clients; meeting with client management and stakeholders to assess current systems and gather requirements for various software development projects; designing, developing, implementing, and testing system architecture for enterprise-level software applications; testing existing systems to gauge scalability and performance; devising improvements to data processing to ensure reliability, efficiency, scalability, cyber security, and compatibility with third-party applications; design architecture to support both real-time and batch-analytics; creating POCs (Proof of Concept); supervising lower-level software developers; and assisting in Sprint Planning. Position requires knowledge of and familiarity with various software development tools, programming languages, and Big Data/Migration platforms, including, but not limited to: Spark, Python, Streaming, GCP, Scala, XML Parser, Informatica, AWS, Java, Spring, Neptune, Rest API, S3, EC2, Load Balancer, Databricks, Azure, Shell Scripting, and Hive.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and 2 years of experience.

Job Site: Employee is permitted to work remotely from his or her home residence, but will at times be required to travel to various unanticipated jobsites within the United States. The nature of this travel entails performing services pertaining to the development and implementation of enterprise-level software applications for clients of the employer. It is not possible to anticipate the frequency of this travel. The frequency of this travel will vary and be on an as-needed basis. Must be willing to travel to various unanticipated jobsites within the U.S. Hybrid work-model is permitted.
